Alocasia maharani are commonly called “Gray Dragon” for their distinctive gray/blue, textured leaves. Feeling a lot like leather or what would feel like reptile scales.
These are fairly easy to grow in the right conditions. Alocasia thrive best in bright, indirect light (no direct sunlight). Enough for new leaves to form, while older leaves naturally die back. Not enough light will result in a plant with few leaves.
Water when the soil feels dry, but do not allow to dry out for long periods as they do prefer moisture. Pot in a well-draining aroid-based potting mix.
Provide humidity or place near other plants to meet it’s humidity environment cravings.
