The popular and protected, native to and found exclusively in the Arizona Sonoran Desert. These iconic, armed cactus are covered in very sharp, protective spines and can live to be over 150 years old! As a very slow growing cactus, these specimens are estimated to already be around 10 years of age at a height of about 1.5-2 inches tall. Their full height in their natural environment can range between 40-60 feet tall.

Like most cacti, they are slow growing and prefer bright, direct sunlight (6+ hours daily) and watering only when soil is completely dry. Pot in a well-draining cactus/succulent soil mix.
