Pencil Cactus (Euphorbia tirucalli)

$18.00

This funky euphorbia is native to South Africa and India. Like other euphorbia, it contains a toxic milky sap that can cause skin irritation, blindness, and ingestion can be fatal. If handled and grown carefully, this lovely plant give back two fold. During cooler months, they can turn shades of oranges, yellows, and pinks giving them another nickname “Fire Sticks”.

They require bright, direct light and soil that is allowed to dry completely between waterings. Watering less in the winter helps prevent root rot.
