$95.00

Strelitzia nicolai is called the “White Bird of Paradise” for its large white flowers it produces when grown outdoors in Florida and warmer climates. Grown indoors, the white bird of paradise is a large foliage plant with huge “banana-like” leaves and an upright, slightly sprawling habit. The new leaves emerge from the center of the plant, overlapping older leaves to form a stem as it grows.

Strelitzia nicolai can grow upwards of 25 feet tall with proper conditions. They enjoy bright, indirect light or full sun if acclimated. Water when the soil feels dry, not allowing them to stay dry to prolonged periods of time.

Common pests:

Spider mites, Mealy bug, and Scale
