MEET OUR GALLERY MANAGER
Tab Link
Tab Link (they/them) is an artist and arts organizer with a background in ceramics. They grew up in Dubuque and currently divide their time between Dubuque and the Madison, Wisconsin area. Tab apprenticed under Gary Carstens from 2012 to 2015 and received their Bachelors of the Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2018. In recent years, they have traveled across the country, showing their artwork and working as an artist-in-residence, most recently at Sonoma Ceramics in Sonoma, CA, and Township 10 in Marshall, NC.
Tab was appointed as the manager of the Planted Gallery in October 2023; however, Tab has been associated with Planted since its inception. Initially, they sold custom planters, then moved on to pop-up sales for their own art, and finally developed a curatorial relationship with Planted. As Gallery Manager, they are most excited to hold group shows that offer artists the chance to exhibit their work and build community.
