The Planted. Gallery was created and exists to hold space for creatives, artists, and our community. Our Gallery changes theme, artist(s), and artwork every single month, featuring photography, fine art, sculpture, ceramics, textile works, mixed media, and so much more.

Gallery Show opening receptions occur in tandem with Dubuque’s First Friday Events.

Pride & Planet!

A celebration of community, creativity, and collective care. The special group show honors Pride Month while partnering with Dubuque Climate Rendezvous to highlight climate activism, local environmental impact, and the power we all have to create change. Submissions accepted until May 22nd, 2026

Meet our Gallery Manager

Jes Stewart-Wagner

Jes is a Dubuque-based artist, designer, and curator dedicated to building community through creativity. As Gallery Manager at Planted., she curates exhibitions, supports emerging and established artists, and helps shape a space where art and conversation thrive. A Clarke University graduate with a B.A. in Studio Art and Graphic Design, Jes’s own work explores collaboration, storytelling, and the power of shared experience.
