Peperomia prostrata, affectionately called “String of Turtles” is a trailing, vining, ground cover peperomia, named for its unique “turtle shell” pattern on its leaf surfaces and a prostrate growth habit, growing long the ground and rooting in along the way in it’s natural habitat.
GENERAL CARE
Peperomia grow best with indirect, filtered light and only need to be watered when the soil feels dry. Pot up in a well-draining soil mix to ensure adequate drainage. Stems tend to rot with too much moisture.
BONUS: Peperomia are PET-FRIENDLY!
