Our Scindapsus pictus ‘Mariposa’ have long slender leaves with white half moons and silver splashy patterns throughout the leaf.
Scindapsus grow best in a filtered bright light, no direct sun and can either trail or climb if given support. Water when soil feels dry to the touch.
Scindapsus are a tropical, vining plant native to tropical forests! They belong in the Araceae (Aroid) family along with Monstera, Philodendron, and other aroids. In nature, they are found growing up trees, anchoring in place with aerial roots. As the plant matures and gains more height/stability, their leaves can get much larger and more dynamic in shape, sometimes forming fenestrations (holes in their leaves).
