Calathea makoyana “Peacock Calathea” (Pet Friendly)

Calathea makoyana “Peacock Calathea” is named so for the interesting leaf patterns that resemble a peacock appearance. While the top of the leaves have deep green and light green patterns and colors, the underside mimics the pattern with light green and burgundy!

This HIGH HUMIDITY loving plant would do great in a bathroom with filtered bright light or in a kitchen where it can absorb more moisture near a sink. Leaves are dynamic with burgundy undersides and funky patterns on top. Leaves stay healthy and lush with humidity levels of 60% or higher (which is slightly higher than most recommended home settings). Water when soil feels dry to the touch. Humidifier near this plant will do wonders!
