We love when plants mimic their surroundings! These little succulents are native to southern Africa and do an incredible job of mimicking the sand and stone habitats they live in.
The key to success with growing lithops is bright light AND avoiding the temptation to over-water them. In their wild habitat, some survive only on the presence of mist and fog! Meaning, only water when soil is COMPLETELY dry and even then, only a few drops. They can survive MONTHS without water.
