Philodendron billietiae

Philodendron billietiae has longer than wide leaves that can get upwards of 24” in length as the plant matures. Their leaves point downward with slight arches in their leaf petioles, making them a great specimen for a shelf or somewhere they can be admired from above. These are a slow growing, vining specimen. Their colors range from a deep green, variegated, to nearly black and are priced accordingly. 

This specimen will thrive best in bright, indirect light. Pot in loose, well-draining aroid substrate and allow soil to dry between watering. Provide a stake or pole for vertical growth and support.

Our plants are pest-free to the best of our knowledge. All plants are treated preventatively with Bonide Horticultural Dormancy Oil for spider mites, mealy bug, and thrips. In addition, our plants may also be preventatively treated with Bonide Systemic granules for mealy bug, scale, thrips, and fungus gnats.
