Monstera Thai Constellation is a larger leaf form of Monstera deliciosa with cream colored variegation and splashing patterns. These tend to be slower growing, with shorter internodes, some consider them to be more “bushy” rather than climbing, however, they will eventually require substantial vertical support as they grow.
Monstera are a tropical, vining plant native to tropical forests! They belong in the Araceae (Aroid) family along with Epipremnum, Philodendron, and other aroids. In nature, they are found growing up trees, anchoring in place with aerial roots. As the plant matures and gains more height/stability, their leaves can get much larger and more dynamic in shape, forming fenestrations (holes in their leaves).
GENERAL CARE
Monstera prefer bright, indirect light. Pot in a loose, well-draining aroid potting blend and water when the soil feels dry. Provide a pole or support to encourage larger leaves and stronger vine growth.
Variegation colors are best when plant grows in bright, but filtered light, no direct sun. Water when soil feels dry to the touch and pot in a well-draining potting substrate.
