Split Rock Plant (Pleiospilos nelii)
We love when plants mimic their surroundings! These little succulents do an incredible job of mimicking the sand and stone habitats they live in.
The key to success with growing split rocks is bright light AND avoiding the temptation to over-water them. In their wild habitat, some survive only on the presence of mist and fog! Meaning, only water when soil is COMPLETELY dry and even then, only a few drops. They can survive MONTHS without water.
If you are up for the challenge, here is a great resource:
We have an assortment of lithops in our shop and the assortment changes based on availability from our growers. If ordering online, please be aware the photos for this plant are not the actual plants you will be receiving.
