Vanilla planifolia Orchid

This is a REAL VANILLA vine (Vanilla planifolia) and the only orchid to produce such a popular product. It takes 3 years, hand pollination, and lots of processing to yield anything close to what we know as vanilla, but it is worth the space in your collection if you like a conversation piece. 
Bright, indirect light and watering when soil mixture is dry. Can be misted between watering to keep the aerial roots healthy. Provide support and allow to climb.
